SUN PF is the official civil society alliance of the global Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement in Sri Lanka. Our platform is dedicated to advancing public nutrition awareness, multi-sectoral governance, maternal and child welfare, emergency nutritional response, and research publications. All financial contributions received through this website are utilized in support of these non-profit objectives.

2. Use of the Website

When accessing and utilizing this website, you agree to the following terms:

• You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental/guardian consent to enter into binding payment transactions.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during checkout, donation processing, and advertisement submission.
• You will not use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful purposes, nor interfere with server security, networks, or digital infrastructure.
• You may not introduce malicious software, automated scraping tools, or unauthorized scripts to the website.

3. Donations and Online Payments

• Voluntary Contributions: All donations made to SUN PF are voluntary charitable gifts. Donors may contribute using the designated payment gateways (including PayHere) and approved commercial bank transfer mechanisms.
• Currency: All standard transactions are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) or authorized equivalent international currencies.
• Payment Security: Payment transactions are encrypted and processed by Central Bank of Sri Lanka licensed payment aggregators (PayHere) and partnering financial institutions. SUN PF does not store your full card numbers, CVV codes, or banking PINs.
• Receipts & Documentation: Digital payment receipts and acknowledgements are generated automatically upon successful transaction authorization.

4. Ethical Advertising & Sponsorship Standards

SUN PF welcomes partnerships and advertisements from responsible organizations. However, to maintain the integrity of public health and infant nutrition in Sri Lanka, the following strict terms apply:

• Infant Formula & BMS Prohibition: In strict compliance with the National Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes and international WHO guidelines, SUN PF will strictly reject any advertisement, sponsorship, or promotion of infant formula, breast milk substitutes, feeding bottles, or pacifiers.
• Unhealthy / Junk Food: Advertisements promoting foods high in trans-fats, excessive sugars, artificial sweeteners, or harmful tobacco/alcohol items will be immediately rejected.
• Review Authority: SUN PF reserves the sole right to review, approve, reject, or remove any advertising content that violates our ethical non-profit guidelines. Full refunds are issued for unapproved submissions as per our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website—including text, research reports, field photography, infographic designs, logos, and software code—is the property of SUN PF Sri Lanka or its credited technical partners (such as WFP, FAO, and MSAPN) and is protected by the Intellectual Property Act, No. 36 of 2003 of Sri Lanka. You may download or share materials for personal, educational, or non-commercial research purposes provided proper attribution is maintained.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

• While SUN PF exercises utmost care to provide accurate, scientific, and up-to-date nutritional guidelines, all information on this website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is not intended to substitute for individualized medical or clinical diagnosis.
• In no event shall SUN PF, its directors, office bearers, or alliance members be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from website downtime, technical internet interruptions, or unauthorized third-party access beyond our reasonable control.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to website use, payments, or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

8. Amendments to Terms

SUN PF reserves the right to revise or modify these Terms & Conditions periodically to align with updated payment regulations, bank directives, or statutory guidelines. Revisions become effective immediately upon posting to this page.
